My Heaven........

I have envisioned my Heaven to be that of all things I have loved.  I know that once I arrive, I will not know the pain of leaving behind my daughter, my family, my friends, my pets.  I'm positive that God will have filled that empty space with so much love that I shall not know my pain.

Once the fog lifts from the travels my soul has taken through the light of purity, I want to be enveloped with trees and vast gardens of colorful, blooming flowers.  A light breeze gently rustling the leaves.  A clearing with a small cottage.  Inside it, a big screen TV so I can watch movies and Husker Football games!  lol  I want a fireplace, so I can hear the logs crackle as they burn down. A library of books to read would be nice as well.  A comfortable bed for a change would be nice!  LOL

I envision on some days, a nice soft rain so everything can drink and thrive.  Mostly though, sunny days with white puffy clouds.  I see a small waterfall, feeding a little rolling creek that spills into a small pond filled with colorful fish.

I'm not sure if I will see my pets that have passed on, or even my friends and family, as in my faith, we believe in reincarnation.  I'm sure everyone has already been reborn on this earth.  With that said, I would like my cottage to be filled with pictures of everyone I have ever loved, living or not.  I don't want to feel sadness for missing them, but gratefulness for having loved them.

Sadly, I doubt they will have Beer and Pepperoni Pizza in Heaven.  I mean, what's watching football without Beer and Pizza?  lol   But it would be nice to have those in the mix.

I would also like my Heaven to have walking trails through a forest behind my cottage.  It would be so wonderful if I could take a nice long walk everyday and at the end of the trail, I could see something I had always dreamed of.  A forever changing view, every single day. I would like to leave the cottage, walk the trail and see the ruins of Pompei.  The next day, walk the same trail and see the great pyramids of Egypt and the next day.........the Roman Coloseum.  Having a Bucket List is pointless, when in my Heaven, I would see for free what I could never afford in real life.

I used to love to draw/sketch/paint.  I would love to be able to do that again, so I see an art room set up in my quaint cottage with every single tool and canvas I could ever dream of at my disposal.  It would be nice to write as it's what I have always loved to do on earth......but who would read them in Heaven?

What's funny is, after I typed that last sentence, I envisioned a few people as wanting to be masters of the blogging world, acting out as a rotten CEO of MySpace or Facebook in their Heaven.........but then I realized, those baffoons are going to Hell.  LOL

I hope you enjoyed my vision of My Heaven.  Thanks for reading!  :)

  1. (((Suzz))) I love your heaven, especially the walking trails. There is so much in the world that I have never seen that I would love to see.. Like the Giant's Causeway and the Ireland Moors & European castles of old... I want that trail in my heaven too!

So happy to see you have created a blogspot of your own. I think you will love having your own space. And many of us love that you are here now.

  3. What a lovely place! Glad you are writing...again, apparently. It'll be fun to get to know you. I already know that your heaven will be someplace we all might like to stop by, if possible. Though, I'm wondering, if you will be reincarnated, would your heaven just be a short stay? Or someplace to which you return?
